In a recent interview with GQ, Beyoncé opened up and explained more or less how her mind works and what a normal day is like for her.
To sum it up: She’s crazy!
- Her New York office-suite apartment has a Beyoncé-esque theme that just screams … Beyoncé
- She has every album, single, EP, music video, interviews, concert/live performance and photograph saved in a ‘digital cold storage’
-Since 2005, Beyoncé has had a ‘visual director’ follow her around for 16 hours every single day, so he can capture every moment of her life
And here’s a quick interview quote:
“I now know that, yes, I am powerful,” she says. “I’m more powerful than my mind can even digest and understand.”
And maybe one more:
“I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal: By the time I was 30 years old, I could do what I want,” she says. “I’ve reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I’ve sacrificed a lot of things, and I’ve worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry. So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it.”
The list goes on and you get the picture, but let’s get back to the main point of this piece. Beyoncé is on the cover of GQ’s February catalog as one the ‘Sexiest Women of the 21st Century!’
So here is a quick little gallery of the photoshoot with GQ and a couple extras for you crazy kids. Enjoy!
