Literary Looks: Necklace Edition
We all know how much I love to post about necklaces, so buckle up. It’s time for another necklace post. I’m also a fairly avid reader, so this time we’re get stylist with a literary twist. With the explosion in popularity young adult books have seen over the last few years, we’ve also seen an explosion of fun, inventive ways to show our love for said books. So, with that in mind, I’ve wrangled up five necklaces from etsy that are sure to make any YA book lover smile.
This antique gold finished locket is the perfect accessory for any fall wardrobe – especially when suspended from a long chain. Inside you can place two (very tiny) photos to keep whatever sets your heart aflutter close.
Another antique gold finished charm, this Mockingjay is perfect for the iron-willed Katniss fan in your life. It’s also available in a shiny, un-aged gold finish in case the antique look isn’t for you.
Fans of the Divergent saga will recognize the significance of these birds instantly. What I like most about this necklace is that it’s a little funky and different. Of course, if the split, multistrand look isn’t for you, there’s another, more traditional option.
Full of hope and promise, this wishbone is of the utmost significance to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone story. Will you keep yours intact or break it open to discover what secrets lie inside? We’ll hope for the necklace’s sake that you decide to keep it whole.
While admittedly NOT a YA book, I couldn’t resist slipping it into this post. This simple copper charm is the perfect compliment to the cooler colors of fall and is a hander reminder of what we say to death: Not today.
