A man was stabbed at a Planned Parenthood protest after his daughter and a protester became involved in a physical altercation. So, a pro-life group stages a protest outside of a Planned Parenthood in Grants Pass, OR. No surprises thus far. But things started to take a turn on Tuesday when Kailah Clair, a twenty-two year old woman, became angry with the protesters, specifically some of the signs. It’s unknown what exactly the signs said, but they were enough to make Clair upset. She kicked over the signs that had been put in place by a Christopher Tolhurst, a pro-life protester. Tolhurst responded by pushing her, a very gentlemanly thing to do. And then this twenty-two year old woman decided to do what adults always do when they’re pushed — they get their fathers. So Clair’s father, Ted Clair, came back and got into a fistfight with Tolhurst, pushing him to the ground and punching him in the face. Tolhurst then drew a blade and stabbed Ted several times in the abdomen and neck. Kailah must have gotten into the fracas as well, as she was later treated of blade injuries to her hand. Officers arrived in the middle of the fight and separated the two men, but the damage had been done. No arrests reported as of yet, but they’ve said clearly that they need to talk to more people before they decide to do so. Here’s the quick version of this story: Young woman gets mad because a pro-lifer put up a sign offensive to her, kicked it over (adult move), got pushed by the protester (what a gentleman), who then got her daddy (real mature), who then got into a fight with the protester (I see where she gets it), and then the protester got a knife and stabbed him (sounds like a stable person to me). I don’t know who we’re supposed to be rooting for here. Question: So who’s wrong — the jerk or the ass?
