15 Year Old Slays Dragon Force’s Through the Fire and Flames

Someone get Tina S. an agent, because she’s crushing it. If this video evidences what happens when talent and dedication are guided by experience, then clearly teacher Renaud Louis-Servais is earning his bread. For everyone else lacking the skills, desire, or time, there’s always the power of imagination. Then again, who knows how much better she could become with a “certain” teacher?

Vince Vaughn and Co. Create Stock Photos To Promote ‘Unfinished Business’

I’ve gotta admit, I have some stock in this game. Unfinished Business, which comes out this Friday, March 6th, is a film I worked on back in 2013 while I was an intern at Escape Artists. But that doesn’t make this newest promotional effort any less AWESOME. Unfinished Business sees Vince Vaughn, Dave Franco, and Tom Wilkinson take their small business to Europe to compete against a giant company for a contract. The giant company is Vaughn’s former employer, hence the title of the film. To promote the film, Twentieth Century Fox teamed up with iStock by Getty Images to

NVIDIA Shield, LOTR, Drunk History TV Show!

CES has started off in fine fashion with processing company NVIDIA announcing that they will be releasing a handheld mobile gaming device.

The NVIDIA Shield will be based on the new Tegra 4 mobile chip, and have up to 10 hours worth of battery life. The design is a sort of clamshell shape similar to the Nintendo DS.

The gaming device will run on Android, and also has a MicroSD slot, a micro USB, and an HDMI output that supports 4K output.  The “retinal display” is a touchscreen capable of running at 720P  at close to 300 DPI.

The Shield’s controls were designed to mimic console controllers and the device can access apps in the Android marketplace. In addition to running Android games, the Shield can also stream games from your PS where you can play them on the device or output them to your television.

Currently there is no information on pricing or availability for the device.

Also revealed today, although not at CES, were Disney’s new MyMagic+ plus wristbands. The unfashionable bracelets are reputably going to change the way parkgoers attend. Disney theme park chairman Tom Staggs wrote in a blog post:

“Like most people who visit Walt Disney World Resort, my family and I have our “must-do” attractions, and as the father of three boys, those attractions often end with the word ‘mountain.’ Now, rather than dashing as a group, or even splitting up to gather FastPasses, imagine booking guaranteed ride times for your favorite shows and attractions even before setting foot in the park,”

The wristband will keep track of itineraries, alert guests when their favorite rides are ready without having to stand in line, and store credit card information to make purchases within the park.

The device will also serve as the guests admission ticket and grant access to FastPass+ options. It may even serve as the room key for a guest if they are staying at a Disney resort.

A new app, called my Disney Experience will grant even the most OCD of guests the ability to plan out their entire stay with precision and ease. The bands are already being tested on a limited basis and are expected to roll out sometime later this year.

Disney isn’t the only theme park in the news today though, as Universal is considering adding a Middle Earth themed attraction to their park.

The Hobbit

Talks with the Tolkein Estate are far enough along that the family has appeared to reach out to author J.K. Rowling for her opinion after the company launched The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Reportedly Rowling gave Universal a big thumbs up.

And finally in web/tv news, the popular series Drunk History has been picked up for syndication at Comedy Central.

The series re-creates moments in history where celebrities play historical figures are narrated by inebriated storytellers. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are the show’s executive producers. McKay has stated:

“Will and I have always believed booze brings out truth. As they always say…History, like revenge, is a dish best served drunk. Sometimes that truth involves hitting on airport bar janitors or eating cheese fries at 4 a.m. But in this case, we hope that truth will shine on our nation’s history.”

What moments do you hope to see re-enacted?
