PETA: Keepin’ It Classy w/Joanna Krupa – Joanna Krupa and PETA put together a little photoshoot to save dogs and stop the fur industry. (NSFW)

The animal rights group known as PETA has had ‘clever’ marketing campaigns over the past few years. Apparently, the only audience that they are aiming to attract are teenage boys who have a suspiciously empty internet search history, because they constantly are releasing photoshoots with naked woman who advocate for animal rights. The newest shoot was with the ‘Real Housewives of Miami‘ ‘star’ Joanna Krupa, who is taking a stance against the fur industry and dog breeders in a very interesting manner.

Joanna has posed for PETA campaigns before, back in 2010 she posed naked stating that she would rather be naked than wear fur. Not sure how that changed the minds of people choosing to wear fur, but I’m sure the sales of the poster went through the roof.

One of her newer photoshoots has her posing as a naked angel holding a silver cross that covers her lady bits, and she is surrounded by dogs that are either in need of saving from pounds or were not saved because people chose to buy dogs from breeders rather than adopting, I’m not 100% sure but here ya go:

The other poster of Joanna was of her half-naked and is taking a stance against the fur industry … here ya go:

I seriously do not see how this in anyway helps protect animals in pounds from being euthanized or puts a stop to the fur industry. Sure, these campaigns may have some effect on a small portion of the population, but I do not see how this is going to help achieve animal rights in the long run. Don’t get me wrong, I agree with the stances that PETA is taking, but I do not think that this is the right approach.

SO QUESTION NATION:

What do you all think of these types of advertisements? Do you think they are effective or could there be a better approach to helping animals and what would you do instead?
