The Hype Magazine, Led by Just Jay, Is Growing Quickly

There have been a lot of changes taking place in the entertainment industry recently. In the past, many people looked at these entertainers as individuals who were only there for one purpose. Recently, entertainers have been getting more involved in social justice movements, policies, and charity work. This is largely because they have had a platform to do so. One example is The Hype Magazine, which was created by Jameelah Wilkerson, who goes by the name of Just Jay. Through this magazine, she has been able to educate the world on everything that is happening in the entertainment industry. What started as a reasonably small publication has now become somewhat of a household name. Furthermore, she even has bigger goals and dreams for this publication in the future.

The Hype Magazine got started back in 2002. At the time, she was still a student. Just Jay attended Ball State University. Even though she has been interested in entertainment from an early age, this is the first time that she decided she wanted to try to make a career out of it. This led her to start The Hype Magazine, which started off by publishing stories about the news that was taking place in the world of entertainment. Over time, this magazine would grow. Largely, the magazine grew because of her dedication to using social media platforms such as FacebookTwitter, and Instagram to let everyone know the magazine was out there.

Quickly, it became clear that Just Jay was an expert in the digital world. She was able to find ways to advance her magazine in the online realm. At the time, many publications for just getting started when it came to the internet. This is what sets her apart. The Hype Magazine was also able to recruit some of the biggest names in the industry to a desktop application. Some of the artists who got their start on The Hype Magazine at an early stage in their careers include Rick Ross, YFN Lucci, BoB, and Machine Gun Kelly. In many ways, The Hype Magazine helps provide a platform for these young artists.

Eventually, some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry were starting to notice that this magazine was growing quickly. They knew that they could find a way to get it into retail stores as well. This was the next step for the publication. Now, the sky is the limit. Even though the magazine might not have been around as long as some of the other publications in the entertainment industry, the magazine has a spot on retail shelves next to magazines such as Time and People. It’ll be interesting to see where the magazine goes from here.
